Through the Shelby County Backpack Program, Shelby County Community Charity assisted in providing children with meals. The Shelby County Backpack Program provides supplemental meals for Shelby County elementary students during weekends, fall break, winter break, and spring break. Without the backpack program, these children may not have the means to eat any meals while they are not at school.
