The Shelby County Community Charity is proud to announce the date for the 28th Annual Michael Todd Long Golf Scramble.
We will kick off the event on Friday evening, May 10, 2024 with music, an auction, food, and fun at the clubhouse. Then, on Saturday May 11th, there will be activity to fill your entire day, from brunch and golf in the morning to drinks, music, and entertainment in the evening.
The Shelby County Community Charity has reached over a million dollars in donations to people in our community with medical needs, but we still need your help! In addition to tickets to the Golf Scramble, you can use use the 2024 Golf and Sponsor Form to make additional charitable gifts, fulfill corporate sponsorships, and provide donations for our auctions.

Highlights From the 27th Annual Michael Todd Long Golf Tournament
Saturday May 13, 2023 at the Shelbyville Country Club
We shouldn’t be allowed to have so much fun while we are raising money to help our community, but we did it again with an extraordinarily weekend of events. The live auction conducted on Friday evening was extremely successful, raising funds that will allow us to continue our work in helping our community’s children and families.
The most popular auction item again this year was the large framed golf pin flag signed by all of the tournament participants, which brought nearly three thousand dollars.
Saturday morning welcomed a field of 192 golfers in 32 six-person teams, and the awards ceremony afterwards honored the top four teams:
First Place Team
Daniel Clark, Stanley Clark, Michael Noftal, Brent Durbin, Tim Roller, and Donnie Fromme
Second Place Team
David Early, Bradle King, Scotty King, Matt Puckett, Kyle Alexander, and Tyler Henry
Third Place Team
Nick Reese, Frank Ford, Dave Peege, Philip Lawson, John Dennis, and Tommy Watts
Fourth Place Team
Turner Mayton, Blake Traylor, Dylan Underwood, Josh Dennison, Jake Coleman, and Blanton Creque
Additional prizes were awarded on all five par-three holes for the shot closest to the pin.
Unfortunately, in the history of this event, no golfer has yet claimed the cash prize for a hole in one. We believe that all that luck must be building up, and predict a win next year!
The incredible entertainment on both Friday and Saturday evening was provided by Josh Bogard and The Dirty South Band. They had the crowd on their feet and we sincerely appreciate the band’s contribution to the event.
